AWorkload Technical policiesOn this page you will find our statements with regard to some technical policies we have.Client Accounts and databasesAWorkload creates individual database for each Account. It means a number of things to you as an Account owner or visitor:
Internet SecurityAWorkload by default provides access for logged in users via HTTPS protocol using what is called SSL.
On our servers we are currently using our own self-issued SSL security keys.
We have plans of buying VerySign keys which your browsers will trust automatically, but for now we don't see it necessary enough to do.
What it means to you is:
User passwordsWe keep all the passwords stored in our databases in encripted way. It means to you that:
Software UpdatesWe issue software updates once a week or sometimes more frequent and they applied automatically.
You are not going to be involved in a process of updating the software which is running on server and performing all the tasks - we do that ourselves.
We try to adjust time when software updates happening to cause the least of discomfort to you. It is however possible that you may experience problems with accessing AWorkload service during the update procedure.
Update procedure usually takes no longer then a few minutes.
Fixing bugs and resolving Feedback requestsWe do our best to keep it at the best possible shape.
All the requests left to us with your Feedbacks are placed in a qeue and taken care of in the order of their priority.
We are not doing any personal or client-specific requests at the moment and not planning to.
Any complaint or suggestion is going to be considered and if found important acted upon in a shortest possible time.
All the results of Feedbacks resolution are going to be reflected in the next software update.
It means you are going to see all the changes made immideately after our next update and it will include all the requests which you made and which were found critical or popular enough to be there.
HostingWe are currently hosting all the server-side software and related databases ourselves. As we believe it is for the best of your convenience and ours.
Hosting of the server-side software on your server is technically possible and we can discuss it.
There will be a greater cost and some technical restrictions for the separate host installation.
All the separately hosted installtions will have to be able to communicate with our central server via standard HTTP on port 80 and their software will have to be updated automatically using our standard software update procedure.
