Project Type

Project Type in AWorkload is definition of content and rules which are common for all Projects of the same Type.

What Types of Projects you need for your business totally depends on what this business is. Setting up Project Type in AWorkload system is a process of reflecting your real business subjects in a formal way.

A single Project Type has the following attributes

• Data fields which one has to fill in order to make a Project of this Type
• Issue Types available for this Type of Project

Data fields

According to nature of your business AWorkload allows you to define what constitutes a Project. It is really a set of questions one would have to answer in order to make a distinct definition of a single Project. This set of questions must be sufficient for recognition of a single Project amongst the others. It may also have some additional details which are considered commonly needed or just handy to have for any Project of the same Type.

Issue Types

Each Project Type contains a list of Issue Types which are allowed to it. This list defines what kind of Issues can be logged against any Project of this Type. It also defines possible conversions from one Issue Type to another.
